NACOS Pay is a student payment system I designed to streamline and automate the collection of departmental levies. As the UI/UX designer, I was responsible for creating two distinct experiences: an intuitive user portal that makes paying fees quick and simple for students, and a robust admin dashboard that provides powerful tools for tracking, reporting, and managing transactions.
My mission for NACOS Pay was to simplify a complex process. I designed a seamless, automated system with an intuitive user portal for students and a powerful admin dashboard for streamlined management.
The Process: From Problem to Solution
The project began by identifying the core pain points of the existing payment system: the time-consuming process for students and the manual, error-prone record-keeping for administrators.
My design process focused on solving these challenges through a two-pronged approach. I started with the user portal, mapping out a simple and intuitive user flow to make paying levies effortless. Simultaneously, I designed the admin dashboard, creating a powerful and visually clear interface that automates tracking, simplifies reporting, and provides a centralized hub for managing all transactions. The goal was to build a single system that serves both audiences seamlessly, transforming a frustrating process into a smooth and efficient digital experience for the entire department.
